ABOUT US

 
     Elegant Touch Interiors was founded by Scott Remai in the year 2000. He has over 25 years experience in the design,measuring, installation and cleaning of window treatments in the greater Pittsburgh area. Scott's philosopy has always been that the design industry needs to be cutting edge so he developed a unique system of dry cleaning drapery that uses a safe, GREEN and odorless solvent This method of cleaning is done in the customers home. His dedicaton to the industry carries over to all under his employment.
 
     Scott travels anywhere his services are needed. His sought after experience has landed him projects from Monterey CA, Boston MA, Nantucket MA and Manhattan NY to name a few. His goal is to provide each and every one of his clients with quality designs and excellent customer service. His trademarks include attention to detail and prompt service. Scott is always up on the latest design and color trends through educational resources.
 
     Scott is proactive in several chamber and networking groups. His participation in these groups has led to an articles being written about Elegant Touch Interiors products and unique services. The latest being in the October 2010 Monroeville Chamber of Commerce newsletter.
 
    
 
 
There is a modest fee for a design consultation. Design is more than just form and function, there are several other variables that ony an experienced design professional can understand. A design consultation with us takes in account the existing color schemes and design styles. Scott considers the proprotions of the room in relationship to the proprotions of everythng going into that room. He encourages his clients to talk freely and with the simple art of listening ,along with his experience a plan gets put into motion. In the case of window treatments,he carefully considers the fabrics hand (the drape ability of the fabric) in relationship to the treatment being used.
